Muelle Uno

The Port of Malaga, better known by locals as Muelle Uno, is one of the most popular parts of the city to see the sunset, whether sat by the edge of the pier or at one of its numerous bars and restaurants, enjoying a drink or meal with views. On top of the hill of the same name, you can find Gibralfaro Castle (Castillo de Gibralfaro), a monument of Arabic origin built with a defensive purpose in order to survey the city from above. Closing times extend to 6pm in winter and 8pm in summer so you can enjoy Malaga’s sunset from its battlements. The Alcazaba

It forms part of a historic-artistic site which is joined to Gibralfaro Castle (Castillo de Gibralfaro) via a passageway which is not accessible to the public.
