Taking all of this criteria into account, there are four Michelin Star establishments in Marbella, making this the city with the most Michelin Star restaurants in the Costa del Sol.

Skina

This restaurant is located in the old town and is the only one with two Michelin stars in Marbella. Its chef, Mario Cachinero, offers creative and signature cuisine with local and seasonal products in a charming restaurant with just four tables to offer the customer a fully personalised service.

Skina has three different tasting menus with a perfect pairing from its wine cellar which boasts around a thousand different wines.

The most important menu is the Grand Cru, priced at €499 where you will find dishes ranging from traditional gazpachuelo soup with Motril shrimps to an A5 Wagyu steak with beetroot and pear.

Nintai

For lovers of Asian fusion cuisine, Nintai is one of the most creative options among Marbella’s restaurants. The establishment has various private areas and a large sushi bar where you can watch the itamae (chef in front of the table) work and create exceptional dishes.

With a relaxed atmosphere and bursting with light thanks to its large windows, its chef, Marcos Granda, offers two tasting menus: Omakase (only at lunchtime) and Nintai, which vary depending on the best product of the day. Moreover, it boasts one of Spain’s best sake menus, as well as some amazing desserts.

Messina

This restaurant is situated in Marbella’s marina area and has one Michelin star. Messina stands out for its creativity and attention to detail, focussing its culinary experience, offered by Argentine chef Mauricio Giovavnni, in a fusion between Mediterranean, Latin American and Lebanese cuisine.

With seasonal ingredients, highlights of its offering include the wines that accompany its dishes, focused on juicy and concentrated wines that offer a unique flavour with each mouthful.

Messina has two tasting menus and also offers the option of an a la carte menu, highlights of which include dishes like Lebanese shellfish tartare or beef with mushrooms and Béarnaise sauce.
