Car hire Malaga airport reviews

We had a beautiful BMW X1 hybrid car. The pick up and return process was very fast. We had a small leak in the front left tire and inflated the tire twice ourselves during the week so we did not need additional Cargest service. Besides some scratches on the car, the car was in very good and very clean condition when we received it at pick up. The shuttlessrvice to the airport went also fast and smooth. All in all we had a good first rental experience with Cargest which we booked via Sunnycars.

Ver nice people, very good organization, pick up and return were very quick. The only thing I did not like were the car I got was not the one ordered but in same class, it had some strange noise in 1st/2nd gears, at return I had to pay extra 15€ because I returned the car earlier than booked (about 07:15 instead 10:30) and after almost an week the deposit (300€) was not paid yet. I know it takes some time, but with other companies I never waited for so long, even though in terms&conditions it mentioned up to 7-10 working days, the refund was done within the next 2-3 days.

We have hired vehicles from CarGest for a few years now and we are absolutely over the moon with them. The cars, the service and the process is fantastic. We cannot fault them. Last year we had to hire from another company and it was a terrible experience. We will be returning in October and so CarGest will be our first port of call. Keep up the good work guys!

I booked a BMW 420 Cabrio for a week's driving holiday from Malaga Airport in April. I found Cargest through an AI recommendation and I'm glad I did, the service was exceptional throughout. Booking. The website was easy to navigate and my booking was confirmed within 5 minutes. I was able to provide all my documentation in advance to speed up the arrival process. The car was around 40% cheaper than through the usual main hire car companies. With Cargest I was able to pick the exact car I wanted rather than just a class of car. Arrival. The instructions were very clear and the meeting point for the minibus was a very short walk from the terminal (just by the station). We were met immediately by a rep and the minibus arrived within 5 minutes and took a further 5 minutes to get to the car hire centre just outside the airport. With the arrival paperwork already submitted the pick up was very quick and I would estimate that we were in the car and on our way within 10 minutes (about 1 hour after landing). The car was very new and in great condition. During Hire. We had no issues with the hire car at all. Drop Off. The drop off location is slightly different to the pick up location but only about 200m away. The drop off was very quick, we were met by a rep, asked if everything was OK and told to leave the key on the dashboard. No paperwork to complete. A minibus was waiting to take us straight back to the terminal. From driving in to the hire car centre to walking in to the terminal was 15 mins at most. Overall. I was very impressed with CarGest througout and I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to others. Absolutely brilliant.

Very smooth and efficient handling for pickup. We received an upgraded car as well. The drop off was equally very easy. The best hire car company I have ever booked.

5 stars. Excellent service great value, they gave us the same car that we booked! It was easy to get the shuttle bus located on the left end of the Malaga terminal. The rental was quick, instructions for the return were clear. I will rent again from CarGest.

Minibus waiting at airport when I arrived, very helpful and friendly staff made the whole experience very easy. Great prices and selections of cars. Price of child car seat is way cheaper that other companies. Over all an excellent service any time I have used Cargest

We are very happy with cargest: the organisation of the pickup, the car, the not pushing extras, the drop off at the airport. We will use them again. The reason I do not give 5 stars: we wanted to know for sure we could be dropped off at the airport earlier than planned and before office hours and could not get a hold on them by phone. It turned out to be fine though
