Best water parks in Marbella
There are no actual water parks as we know them in Marbella. However, they have managed to meet this demand with original and fun ideas.
In the absence of water parks on the ground in Marbella, how about enjoying them on the water? It is certainly an original solution that has been so well received that there are now several attractions of this kind along the best beaches of Marbella.
Nagupark Marbella
Our first destination is Casablanca Beach. Here, Nagupark Marbella has set up one of the most fun attractions on the entire coast of Marbella.
This calm beach with very little waves is the perfect place for the whole family to enjoy; from kids as young as 6 to the elderly. Safety comes first, which is why life jackets are mandatory for everyone, and you will always be under the watchful eye of lifeguards ensuring your safety.
Open from 11 AM to 8 PM every day, you can choose between two types of tickets; either buy the one-hour ticket for €15, or the unlimited ticket that allows you to use the facility for as long as you want for €35.
Costa Water Park Puerto Banús
In the heart of Puerto Banús, next to the port, on Nueva Andalucía Beach, we have another place to unleash our energy and have a great time.
Costa Water Park has all the necessary elements to ensure user safety, from the constant supervision by its lifeguards to the EN15649 quality seal.
Accessible from June to September, you can enjoy 9 hours of fun among its attractions; from 11 AM to 8 PM. Get the wristband that gives you access at the beach ticket office.
Prices vary depending on how long you want to spend on the attraction; €15 per hour for both children and adults, and €30 for the whole day. If you go with a child under 5 years old, they must always be accompanied by an adult, and both will pay the entrance fee.
WaterFun
Our last stop is Playa Real de Zaragoza-Elviria, located in the Golden Beach Urbanization.
Their schedule is the only one interrupted by an hour of rest, so keep in mind that it starts at 11 AM, and they do not allow entry to the water attractions from 3 to 4 PM. Then the fun continues until 8 PM.
As for ticket types, they only offer hourly tickets, with an individual price of €18. However, if you are a group of more than 10 people, your ticket will cost €15.
The minimum age to enter is 6 years, and all children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. As in the previous water parks, safety is paramount, and you will be equipped with a life jacket, receive a safety briefing, and have the support of lifeguards.
You should know that there are several water parks near Marbella, some of which are among the best water parks in Malaga.
Other water sports in Marbella
But this is just the tip of the iceberg. As a recognized vacation destination on the coast, Marbella offers a wide range of water leisure activities and other water sports and activities.
Wakeboarding
Glide over the water on a board while being pulled by a rope. It is a very fun water sport, easy to practice but hard to master. Laughter is guaranteed. There is also the ski mode, known as Cable-ski or water skiing.
Banana
However, if you want to be pulled by a cable, feel the speed, and not stop laughing, then forget about wakeboarding and sit on a giant banana with all your friends or family.
It is one of the most fun activities you can do on the coast of Marbella. Although it is not considered a water sport, it is an aquatic activity you will not easily forget.
If you want a variant of this aquatic activity, you also have the option to sit on a sofa for up to five people, or on an inflatable known as “Flyfish,” half fish and half kite. You will fly and have a great time.
Parasailing
We continue being pulled by a rope, although this time you will fly more than with the Flyfish. Imagine being attached to a parachute and a boat that lets you fly more than 50 meters high, and see the coast from a bird’s-eye view in complete safety.
You will see Marbella as very few people have seen it and experience a water activity full of fun and adrenaline.
Flyboard
Did someone say adrenaline? If you combine adrenaline and the sea, you get the total Flyboard experience. Feel like a superhero with this board at your feet, propelled by a high-pressure water hose. You can fly several meters above the water in this exciting and fun water sport.
Kitesurf
We do not stop skimming the sea at high speed, this time mixing jumps, spins, flights, and high speeds; kitesurfing. Let the kite guide you, although you must always be in control, to cover distances at high speed with your board and a good dose of adrenaline.
Jet skis
Another level of fun awaits you when you ride a jet ski. If you are a motor enthusiast, imagine mixing your passion with the fun of being at sea. It is exciting, refreshing, and fun.
Kayak
If you want to stay on the surface but enjoy tranquility and, in addition, do some exercise, kayaking is for you. It is a fantastic way to observe the sea without interfering in its activity. You can do it alone, in pairs, or small groups.
Boat and sailing
Of course, a boat ride cannot be missing from our list of water sports and activities. It is a different experience if you have never done it, enjoying the tranquility and charm of the sea in the comfort of a boat.
However, if you want something truly different, we recommend trying sailing. It is a water sport for skilled people at sea, allowing you to take a leisurely ride or cross the sea at high speed. You decide how you want to enjoy sailing.
Diving
We end our list of water activities under the sea. The Mediterranean seabed is rich, and observing it up close is a real luxury. There are companies and diving schools that allow you to discover some of the underwater secrets hidden in this rich and beautiful sea.
