In the just-ended WTM in London, the Minister of Tourism of the Junta de Andalucía has announced that their actions will focus on attracting younger tourists and that visitors get to stay longer and spend more money. For this, it is critical to expand the tourism offer products that complement the classic sun and sand.

For years, the need to diversify the offer has been announced, as well as to expand and improve the existing one, to open up new segments, appealing to value still unknown by almost everyone. The sun and beach tourism is and must remain, the great Andalusian tourism demand, but can not and should not be unique because, among other reasons, it is essential to break the seasonal and spread in the territory. Offers such as nature tourism, gastronomy, adventure, cultural and linguistic, must be known by tourists so they can choose from a wide array of possibilities.

One sector that could help to make attractive the touristic offer to young people is the snow tourism, attracting an audience with some spending power. Taking a ski resort Andalusia as important as Sierra Nevada, located in a province with many cultural and leisure attractions such as Granada, it would be unforgivable not to take the opportunity to promote this type of tourism.
