Although this place is one of the youngest in the history of Malaga, its bottom was always connected with the city of Malaga. Its position on the coast, which is rich in history in this area, has made him a place where first settled civilizations. Archaeological finds in the caves, about 150,000 years old, show that even in that time people already lived here.
On these shores the Phoenicians, Greeks, Romans and Arabs landed. The incoming civilizations found in this area all what they could need at this time: accommodation, water, fishing, hunting and a good climate.
