Los Lagos and Los Olivos, both golf courses are located in Mijas valley, northwest of Fuengirola Town, 25 kilometers from Malaga airport and 36 from Marbella.
The Mijas Lakes course was the first one to be built. The course layout offers wide fairways in lined with water hazards, numerous lakes give the name to the first 18 holes, many bunkers and trees protect their broad intense greens.
Later, thanks to success and economic development in general of the area, second golf course Los Olivos was built, It was built between 1983-1984, and was completely renovated in 2000. Los Olivos is a shorter run course, given the dimensions of the land it sits: the greens are small, very hilly and falls, also protected by bunkers on its layout player will find with lots of olive trees as obstacles preserving the flora and environment of the land by fusing the design with the surrounding nature, all together make the player needs to concentrate on performing a more accurate and straight drive.
