Manilva Golf Courses


Manilva municipality is in the South West of the Costa del Sol, geographically bordering Casares and Cadiz province. The municipality extends along the coast side 8 km. Dark sandy beaches with mild sea water temperature.

The main core of the population is inland at 2 km. from the coast sea side, with a total population of 13.810 inhabitants, being the main neighborhood Sabinillas, and the largest reaching a floating population in summer season of up to 50,000 inhabitants.


Manilva is home to the Club "La Duquesa Golf & Country Club".

A 18 holes golf course very much appreciated by golf's lovers for the views to the Mediterranean Sea, also on a clear day enjoying the views of Africa's coast and the great rock of Gibraltar.

Manilva is located 97 km. away from Malaga capital, 88 km. from Malaga-Costa del Sol Airport and 35 km. from Gibraltar.

It has an extension of 35.30 km. It marks the border between the Costa del Sol and the Campo de Gibraltar.

It is 128 m height above sea level, it has an annual rainfall of 750 l. /m², and the average yearly temperature is round 18º Celsius.

By Road. The Urban Bus line is a regular service which connects with main towns of the Coast. Manilva also has a local Bus service, which runs daily through the municipality. There are quick and easy access to the A-7 Mediterranean motorway and from old national N340.


By Rail. The nearest train Railways stations are Malaga- Maria Zambrano stations and Algeciras train station.


By Plane. Málaga-Costa del Sol airport, distance 80 km. and only 35 km. to Gibraltar.


By Boat. La Duquesa port with its magnificent facilities is the nearest one, complemented by the international port of Algeciras.
